Usually in the process of manufacturing linear lights, we will use cutting machine to cut the PC/PMMA diffuser and aluminum profile. How to ensure the length of the aluminum and diffuser is the same? Fit the diffuser into the aluminum profile and cut together, so that the diffuser is the same length as the aluminum profile. That is the reason why we usually suggest our customers to purchase long materials and process cutting work by themselves with the aluminum profile, which can reduce material loss and the problem of inappropriate length may cause. The above video shows the cutting wrk in the manufacturing process of Led linear light, but sometimes, we will do a lot of engineering projects, some customers will require cutting PC/PMMA diffuser directly in the construction site, especially some continuous uninterrupted projects, like 30 meters, 50 meters. If there is no cutting machine how do we cut the diffuser in the construction site? All we need is a knife. Check out the video below. The cross section is almost exactly the same as it would be with a cutting machine.
